Welcome to my first blog!! Can you tell I am excited that you are here??!! I so appreciate you taking the time to visit. I’m looking forward to sharing pieces of my journey with you. To start letʼs establish that I am now single but I am also satisfied!
Yes, I am single. Yes, I am a single Mother, but I am also whole and happy. Itʼs possible to be single and satisfied. I get asked all the time how do I do it? How do I keep it all together without being in relationship? I am always in awe whenever I am asked this question. Arenʼt we as a society past feeling as if women need a man to be whole?
What bothers me most is this question usually comes from a negative mindset. The negative implications could be your single because you can’t find a man because no man wants you, or even the extreme opinion that something must be wrong with you. But what if.. just what if youʼre single simply because you have chosen to be. Other positive reasons that a woman may be single may include but are not limited to; Youʼre focused on raising your children if your a mother, youʼre career driven, or youʼre taking time to simply enjoy life alone. Its perfectly normal and ok to be Single and Satisfied.
For me itʼs a combination of things. I am a whole, complete single woman. I have chosen to take the time to be the best mother I can be to my 2 amazing children and to pursue my purpose. Donʼt get me wrong Iʼm not knocking being in a relationship. But I also donʼt think its a good idea to be in an unhealthy relationship. So if you too are single don’t allow anyone to pressure you into anything. Take your time and allow your Mr. Right to come into your life organically. And when he shows up he will appreciate you being the whole complete, secure woman that you are!
